RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Baseball junior Bill Cullen was named Second Team All-America by College Sports Madness, announced by the publication on Monday.
Cullen finished 2012 with a .347 batting average, 90 hits, 25 doubles, nine triples (second in the country) and hit five home runs. He was named to the All-CAA Third Team following the season.
The Colonial Heights, Va. native received Third Team Collegiate Baseball and Second Team NCBWA Preseason All-America honors as well. Earlier this month, Cullen was named Atlantic 10 Preseason Player of the Year and to the conference's first team by College Sports Madness.
