Ram fans! Do you know a kid who is making a difference in their community here in Richmond? VCU Athletics and Virginia529 are partnering to find "Super Kids" throughout Central Virginia who display traits such as academic excellence, exemplary leadership, a passion for community outreach, or a drive to overcome obstacles in their lives or in the lives of others. Maybe there's a sixth grader in your neighborhood who volunteers his time at a local retirement community. Or you might know an eighth grade girl who has fund raised for a local charity. There could be a child in your son's fifth grade class who has inspired a school by overcoming an illness. VCU and Virginia529 want to recognize these kids at a VCU Basketball game this year. If you know of someone deserving to be honored, take a moment to fill out the following form to describe how this child has impacted his or her community. If selected the child will receive four tickets to a VCU home basketball game and will be recognized during a time out on the floor in front of the Ram crowd. In addition, the person who nominated the honored Super Kid will receive two tickets to that game as well. All nominees should be in eighth grade or younger.
